This paper describes the work of Team Dynamics and the development of mobile rescue robots. The team consists of research associates form the research group SAR (Smart Au- tomation and Robotics1) and students at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria – Campus Wels. This paper includes the preliminary results which are achieved so far about development of different rescue robots. The team focuses on the development of various drive concepts and intuitive operating devices for safe exploration and control of mobile rescue robots. Approaches for SLAM, traversability analysis, autonomous grasping, automated object detection and autonomous behavior are under develop- ment.
